After the Storm
The night before this was taken, the weather turned wild. Thunderstorms, strong winds, and relentless rain hit the area all night long.
When I walked outside the next morning, the pool area below our apartment looked completely different. Tables were broken, chairs were scattered everywhere, sand covered the ground, and employees were already working hard to put everything back together.
But none of that is visible here.
Instead, all you see is a quiet morning, the ocean, and a moment that feels peaceful.
I think that's what makes photography so beautiful. Every picture tells a story, but it never tells the whole story. There is always something happening outside the frame—just like in life.
Sometimes we're surrounded by chaos, yet we're still able to find a moment of peace. Sometimes the mess is real, but so is the beauty.
It's all about perspective. The way we choose to see a moment often matters more than the moment itself.
